Dominica have just experienced its worse storm in the History of the island. We at N.E.B.O Inc were at the forefront of witnessing all of the destruction that the island underwent. We are asking you to continue praying for our islands people, improvement to our islands infrastructure and to the families who lost loved ones. Contact [email protected] if you wish to make a contribution to the Storm victims especially the forgotten ones on the North Eastern side of the island.
NEIBO inc. would like to send out a huge Thank you to Dr. Clemon George for donating these beautiful plaques which will be placed all over Wesley. Looking forward to more contributions from our friends as everything counts in making the North East Beautiful. From the North Eastern Beautification and Improvement Organization team we say Thank You. This is a copy of the live interview of The Tarnia Green show and Q95 interview promoting our Beautification drive. http://YouTube.be/i7OuGRQkfKU Just finished the first segment of my interview with Tarnia Green for the Tarnia Green show discussing our Beautification and Improvement project. The other half of the Interview will be conducted at Fort Yonge hotel on Thursday. You will be informed when it will be airing. Sorry for the late addition. This was a story from DNO, Dominica news online. Feel free to read and get involved with our project. Yesterday was one of our major successes. We did the cleaning up around the Londonderry river, field, along the sides of the roads and picking up the stones in Cabana.. The turnout was lovely and the people who came out decided to do a lot of work. We also had major volunteer spirit present as we cooked, clean laughed and you name it. The community really came together as our Haitian friends along with individuals from Wesley and Matigot worked together. We also had the support of the community as our local shops Cap and Kell chipped in yo help out by making their donations. Our Diaspora friends came through as usual with their help. Hoping to see even more of this kind of response as we plan the next one two Saturday's away. We are also looking forward to the steady increase of students volunteering as we continue to work with the North Eastern Comprehensive and it's principal. Thank you so much to everyone for the continued support. Here is where we at, at the moment. We just finished adding boxes at the junction of St. Andrews High school and the North East Comprehensive. We look forward to your continued support as we push this project through heading to the village of Wesley.
We are now up to 5 boxes. Looking forward to a more sped up process this week. Let's pray to give the individuals building the boxes health, strength and a clear head next week. |
