Just finished the first segment of my interview with Tarnia Green for the Tarnia Green show discussing our Beautification and Improvement project. The other half of the Interview will be conducted at Fort Yonge hotel on Thursday. You will be informed when it will be airing.
Sorry for the late addition. This was a story from DNO, Dominica news online.
Feel free to read and get involved with our project.
Yesterday was one of our major successes. We did the cleaning up around the Londonderry river, field, along the sides of the roads and picking up the stones in Cabana.. The turnout was lovely and the people who came out decided to do a lot of work. We also had major volunteer spirit present as we cooked, clean laughed and you name it. The community really came together as our Haitian friends along with individuals from Wesley and Matigot worked together. We also had the support of the community as our local shops Cap and Kell chipped in yo help out by making their donations. Our Diaspora friends came through as usual with their help. Hoping to see even more of this kind of response as we plan the next one two Saturday's away. We are also looking forward to the steady increase of students volunteering as we continue to work with the North Eastern Comprehensive and it's principal.
North Eastern Beautification and Improvement committee is a group of individuals who joined forces to improve conditions in the North East Area. It's a Non-profit organization dedicated to helping the area increase the standard of hygiene and beautification.
