Information on how to go about Adopting a Palm Tree
Welcome to our Beautification and Improvement of the North East Drive. This is a Non Profit organization so we rely heavily on Donations and sponsors to push our projects through and continue to maintain them. if you are interested in donating please fill in our short form on the contact page. We are currently advocating an Adopt a Palm plant in the village of Wesley. This is what adopting a plant entails
1.Adopt a Palm Tree with a built in stone box made from river stones and sea stones
2.The individual who Adopts the Palm tree will have their name or someone they wish to commemorate name placed on a Plaque which will be sealed to the stone box
3. Their contribution will pay for the Labor cost of building the box, collecting the stones, collecting the sand and purchasing the cement
4. The cost of purchasing and printing the Plaque to be placed on the stone block/box
5. The cost of planting three Bouganvilia trees between each Palm
6. The cost is minimum $100 USD, CDN ,EUR and or POUNDS for Diaspora
7. For people living in Dominica it cost a minimum $150 EC dollars plus some of your personal time ie volunteering
8. Our project is completely environmentally friendly as we use only material found in nature and we choose weed whacking and cutlasses over poison for grass and weed maintainance
